With two great regattas “back to back” at RBYC we know many of you will be keen to enter both regattas. Please note the following regarding bow numbers and regatta t-shirts.
Instructions for Applying Bow Numbers
As specified in the Sailing Instructions;
5.2 All boats will be issued with bow numbers at registration. Bow numbers are to be attached to the forward part of each side of each boat, with the after part of the bow number to be no more than one metre from the hull datum point as defined in class rule D.2.4 (a) and the top of the bow number to be no more than 20 mm below the gunwale..
To install, peel top section (approx. 100mm) paper back, apply to top gunnel rub down as you pull rest of backing paper off, the material is bubble free, (DO NOT PUT ON WET) , Also make sure surface is clean with no polish.
Please Note: If you are doing the State Titles please do not remove your bow number at the end of the regatta. You will be assigned the same number for both the Nationals and the States.
Regatta T-shirts
When you are registering for the Nationals, each of your crew will be provided with a regatta t-shirt as part of your entry fee, which commemorates both the National and VIC States championships.
If you are competing in the States only, you will have the opportunity to purchase these regatta shirts ($30 each).
